His loving family announces the death of Robert E. Hudson Sr. on Aug. 11 due to carcinoid cancer.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Priscilla and sons Robert Jr. and his wife Bonnie; Richard and his wife JoAnn; William, Randy and his wife Sharon; sisters Joan and Joyce, and grandchildren Jessica and Matthew.

Bob and Priscilla married on Jan. 31, 1958 and shared 47 wonderful years together. Bob served proudly in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the Oak Harbor Yacht Club, as a bus driver for the Oak Harbor School District, and drove for Bellair Airporter Shuttle. Bob was an avid bowler and golfer.

Bob was born on March 1, 1938 in Muskegon, Mich. Bob and Priscilla met on a bus, went roller-skating and have been together ever since. Bob will be cremated and memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m. the Church of the Nazarene, located at 1100 W. Whidbey Ave., Oak Harbor.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously appreciated.
