Robert “Bob” William Mann passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and family on Oct. 31, 2019. He was born on Feb. 8, 1950.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Betty Mann of Mile City, Mont.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Grace Mann; his brother, Jim (and Sharon) Mann; and two sisters, Linda (and Tom) Halvorson, and Vickie (and Jim) Atkinson; two sons, Chad (and Anita) Mann, Derek (and Alexis) Mann; and a host of grandchildren.

Bob retired from the Navy as senior chief, AMCS (AW) and was stationed at NAS Whidbey Island for many years. After his retirement, he enjoyed RV trips with Betty and, eventually, became a snowbird living in both Yuma, Ariz. and Oak Harbor, Wash.

His passions were golfing with his friends in Yuma and fellowship with his friends at the American Legion and VFW in Oak Harbor.

He particularly enjoyed caretaking for his homestead. He will always be missed and thought of kindly.

The family’s planned celebration of life for Bob at the VFW. 3037 Goldie Road, Oak Harbor, WA 98277 has been postponed due to CV-19, new date to be determined.
