Richard W. Miller, 76, died in Coupeville at Careage of Whidbey on March 16, 2007. He was born August 5, 1930 in St. Paul, Minn., to Michael and Theresa (Tokay) Miller. Mr. Miller moved to Oak Harbor in 2006 to be near his family. He had been a resident of Summer Hill Retirement Center and Careage of Whidbey.

Mr. Miller is survived by three children and their spouses, Laurie Widener and Michael of Oak Harbor, Kristine Brown and Richard of Avon, Ind., and James Miller of Oak Harbor; and one brother, William Miller of Whitebear, Mont. One son Richard Miller preceded him in death.

Mr. Miller requested no formal funeral services be conducted. Cremation was held with family inurnment to follow in Kent, Wash. Arrangements are entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor.
