Raydon Elizabeth Bradley

Raydon Elizabeth Bradley, 33, of Coupeville, died of cancer April 11, 2003, in the comfort of her mother’s home.

She was born May 6, 1969, in Everett. She grew up in Clinton on Whidbey Island. She was a participant in Special Olympics and was a student at Marysville High School, where she attended the Life Skills program.

After receiving her diploma, she was was fortunate to be accepted into the Service Alternatives program in Coupeville. At Service Alternatives, she was able to live in her own apartment with the freedom to enjoy her life.

She was baptized Sept. 17, 2002. She enjoyed music, drawing, sticker collecting and animals. Above all, according to her family, she valued her family and friends, pouring out her love unconditionally. She was a friend to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roger Bradley. Her grandparents, Bill and Charlotte Bellman, were longtime Clinton residents.

She is survived by her father, Randy, and Myrna Bradley of Clinton; her mother, Randlynn, and Allan Youngblood of Silverdale; three sisters, Megan and Randy Lindahl of Kingston and Heather O’Rourke of Los Angeles; two brothers, Mike Madsen of Clinton and J.T. (and Stacy) Madsen of Clinton; 10 nieces and nephews; and her paternal grandmother, Alma Bradley of Kent.

Family services will be held Monday, April 28 in Langley. Friends are invited to celebrate Raydon’s life at a gathering at Freeland Hall at 4 p.m. that day.
