Pauline L. Stiff, 83, of Coupeville, went to be with the Lord March 26, 2009 in Stanwood. She was born Sept. 17, 1925, to David and Alice Stinson in Long Beach, Calif. Pauline graduated from Polly High School in Long Beach, in 1943. She worked as a secretary for many firms in the finance industry.

Pauline’s main focus was her faith and her family. She was a prayer warrior for her family and a role model her Baptist church. Preceding her in death were her siblings, Howard Stinson, Agnes Fogelson and Dorothy Carlson. Pauline is survived by her loving husband of almost 63 years, Billy A. Stiff of Coupeville; sons, Charles (Janet) Stiff of Marysville, Timothy (Sharon) Stiff of Chino, Calif., Gregory (Debbie) Stiff of Marysville and Gary (Mae) of Visalia, Calif.; siblings, Roy Stinson of Pittsburgh and Ruth Pendergraft of Kerman, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held Thursday, April 2, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Weller Funeral Home, 327 N. MacLeod Ave., Arlington. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Weller.
