We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved mother Mary Ann Saglie at age 88. She passed away June 29, 2021.

Mary Ann and Karl Saglie were married in 1956. Mary Ann was a long time resident of Ballard in Seattle. When Mary Ann and husband Karl retired they move to EdgeCliff Drive in Langley, Wash. She loved her home, which was full of love and friendship.

She is survived by her two sons Martin (Patty) and Arnold (Kelly), a daughter Karen and son-in-law Corey Liebel. She is preceded in death by her husband Karl; daughter Lisa; and son, Carl John Saglie.

Mary Ann was a very outgoing person who loved all. She was a member of Daughters of Norway and Sons of Norway. She loved going to her favorite Church, St. Peter Lutheran in Clinton, Wash.

Her smile was so big and loved by many. Mary Ann loved helping others. She loved all the little animals in her yard, giving them sweet treats daily.

Her presence and love will be sorely missed. We will miss saying, “Love you, Mom” and getting that big SMILE back!
