Marie Constantino, 94, died peacefully Aug. 31, 2002, following a short illness. She was born Aug. 22, 1908, and spent most of her life in New York. She came west to San Diego with her husband and moved to Oak Harbor where she had been a resident of Summerhill Retirement Home since 1996.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Joseph, and a daughter, Marilyn Rogers. She is survived by three daughters, Joan Minckler, Patricia Daugherty and Carole Gray, all of Oak Harbor; by one son, Robert, of New York; by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Cremation was held with private inurnment to follow at a later date.

Memorial services will be held at Summerhill Retirement Home, 165 SW Sixth Ave., today, Sept. 4, at 2:30 p.m.

Remembrances may be made to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.
