Lucile Genevieve Beabout passed away on August 6, 2009, at Careage of Whidbey. She was 87 years old and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Donald Pearson of Oak Harbor; four granddaughters, Alaina Griffin, Genevieve Moeai, Gabrielle Bigthumb and Rebecca Moeai; and three great-grandchildren, Naiya Loren Griffin, Kiora Nizhoni Bigthumb and Gabriel Lennon Griffin.

Mrs. Beabout was born in Canton, Ohio, April 29, 1922, but later went to live with her daughter and relocated to Oak Harbor with her daughter and grandchildren in 1993. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. at Summerhill in Oak Harbor.
