Lorraine Glodowski

Lorraine F. (Faucher) Glodowski, 73, died May 13, 2003, at her home in Everett surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born to Adelard and Evelyn Faucher on Oct. 30, 1929, in Holyoke, Mass.

Lorraine, who lived in Oak Harbor for most of her adult life, will be remembered for her involvement in the Fleet Reserve, American Legion and Navy Wives Club. She volunteered for several years with the American Red Cross at Naval Hospital at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. After retiring she moved to Everett and continued her joy of cooking which she shared with her family and friends. You didn’t leave without something”to take home. She enjoyed Harlequin Romances and was an avid bingo player. Her message to all her buddies is “Daub On.”

Lorraine was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all those who knew her. Lorraine was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Lowell, her sister Beatrice and her brothers Alfred, Norman and Dolor. Lorraine is survived by her sister Claire Croft of Everett, two daughters, Joanne Armstrong of Marysville and Tina Houle (Kevin) of Fallon, Nev., two sons, Wayne Glodowski (Josephina) of Kuwait and Mark Glodowski (Loretta) of Renton, as well as extended family members Kim Glodowski of Tacoma and Mindy Decker of Marysville, seven granddaughters, five grandsons, and 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family dinner was held Saturday, May 17.
