Linda K Arnold, of Sedro Woolley, Wash., passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2020 at Birchview Memory Care at the young age of 80.

Linda was born on April 2, 1939 to Larry and Betty Armstrong in Winchester Ind.

Linda married the love of her life, Gordon Duane Arnold, on June 28, 1956 and they were together until his passing in 2014. At that time, Linda moved to Washington state to be closer to her children.

Linda lived a full and vibrant life with her family and friends. Her love for her family and friends was like no other. Linda will always be remembered for her love, care and compassion for whomever walked through her door.

Linda is survived by her children, Jeffrey K. (Tylene) Arnold, of Overgaard, Ariz.; Michael B., of Oak Harbor; Wash.; Gregory S., of Oak Harbor; Bradley K., of Ohio; and Troy D., of Oak Harbor; brother, Tom (Jan) Armstrong, of Portland, Ind.; grandchildren, Aaron, Eric, Rebecca and Hannah; five great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Betty Armstrong, and her husband, Gordon Duane Arnold, in 2014.

The family would like to thank the staff at Birchview Memory Care for taking great care of Mom these last few years as well as Hospice of the Northwest for your love, care, compassion and support during this difficult time.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Northwest, or your favorite charity, in Linda’s name.

At Linda’s request there will be no services. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband Gordon in Portland, Ind.
