Lillian Ohlson

Lillian Ohlson, a former resident of Oak Harbor, went into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 18, 2007, in Cheyenne, Wyo. She was born Dec. 11, 1916, in Jamestown, N.Y.. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Ohlson, who died Jan. 11, 1997, her parents Anton and Anna Lawson, one brother and one sister.

She is survived by her sons, Roger Ohlson and his wife Ouida of Longview, and Pastor Bob Ohlson and his wife Anita; five grandchildren, Laura Nolan of Green Bay, Wis., John Ohlson of Appleton, Wis., Rob Covel of Kelso, Susan Kinder of Selah, and Greg Covel of Seattle; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service is being planned on Saturday, June 2, at 3 p.m. at the Maple Leaf Cemetery with a time of refreshment to celebrate her life following.
