Leroy William Sinclair, 91, of Oak Harbor, died Oct. 20, 2004, at Whidbey General Hospital.

Mr. Sinclair was born July 4, 1913, in Portland, Ore. He was a resident of Oregon, and then California, and later moved to Oak Harbor in August 2004 to be near his son. He was a resident of his daughter-in-law Alicia Sinclair’s adult family home. He was employed working for ranchers and dairymen, and during World War II he built planes for Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego, Calif. Later he was employed as a security guard. Leroy was married to Anna Ruth Deal for 65 years. He was a boating enthusiast.

Leroy is survived by his son, Leroy W. Sinclair, Jr. and wife Alicia of Oak Harbor and by two grandchildren, Mary and Susan Sinclair.

In keeping with his wishes, no services, will be held.Arrangements and cremation are under direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
