In loving memory of Leonard Leon King, who died at age 77 on April 1, 2002.

Born in Los Angeles on Feb. 5, 1925, and a long-time resident of Oak Harbor, Leonard was the son of Harvey King and Esther Hill King, both deceased.

Leonard retired with 20 years of service in the U.S Navy SeaBees. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 09241 and the American Legion.

Leonard is survived by his children: son Terry King; daughter Sandy Fawcett and her son Danny; son Kevin Balcerak, his children Brandy and Kevin (K.C.) Shirley; Brett and Kelly Balcerak, their mother Teresa Balcerak; daughter Tamia King and her children, Courtney, Brian, Brynlee and Kylee King; great-grandaughter Hayley King; son Steven King, his wife Cheryl and their children Steven II and Derik King; daughter Traci King and her children, Rikki and Danika King; son David King, his wife Amy and their children David and Erik King; daughter Kimberly King, her children Shani, Shalyn, and baby-to-be Jurnee King; son Kip King and his wife Ingrid. Other survivors include grandchildren Sharry and Christie Shirley.

He also is survived by his brothers and sisters: Pat Utterback, Scotty Dekas, MaryAnn Taylor, James Dekas, Elaine King and Georgia Winkler. He was preceeded in death by his sister Velma Croce.

Leonard was a loving father and granddad. He will be missed by all who knew him.
