andy Morgan, born April 10, 1954, in Oak Harbor to Edward and Roberta Morgan, passed away on August 9, 2004. Kevin was an accomplished tennis player who enjoyed music, but tennis was his passion. He played the Seattle circuit, traveling to many courts including the Seattle Tennis Center and Lower Green Lake. He attended Seattle University where he played number one singles for the tennis team.
After graduating from Oak Harbor High School with the Class of 1972, Kevin was recruited as a machinist for Boeing where he worked for many years. He then went into business with his brother, Arliss, buying and remodeling homes.
Kevin is survived by his mother Roberta Morgan; sister Evett C. Morgan-Mueller, spouse Richard and their daughter Emma residing in Oak Harbor, and brothers E. Arliss Morgan, and partner Tina, Terry D. Morgan and his wife Judy of Seattle. Extended family members include Marjorie, and her family Evin and Nhen, and numerous aunts and cousins.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m., at the Murphy’s outdoor tennis court, 1000 Waterloo Road, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Children’s Hospital in Seattle. Hypertension is a silent killer. Please honor Kevin’s memory by having your blood pressure checked. Kevin will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
