Kenneth Edwin Severine died Nov. 11, 2005 at his home in Oak Harbor after a long battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred; children, Kathy Severine, Keith Severine, and Jeanette Hallgren; step-children he raised, Verna Large, Judy Moss, Dwain and Larry Large; step-children, Marilyn Finke, Darlene Ferguson, Carol Judy and Patti Bernhardt; sisters, Francis Brown and Lorene Kiefer; brother, Harvey Aney; and numerous nieces, nephew, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was born March 8, 1931 in Sunnyside, Wash. to Walter E. and Eunice J. (Jacobs) Severine. His father died when he was three years old and he was raised by his stepfather, Harry Aney.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 409 Filbert Rd., Lynnwood.
