Kathryn Rose Stratton, 74, of Coupeville died Aug. 4, 2008, at home. She was born Jan. 12, 1934, in Butte, Mont., to Ralph and Irene (Klarich) Klemo.

On March 27, 1960, Kathryn married Charles D. Stratton in Whitehall, Mont. To this union two children were born, Ralph and Erena.

Kathryn worked as an LPN. She enjoyed gardening, especially roses.

Survivors include her husband Charles Stratton of Coupeville; son Ralph Stratton of Coupeville; daughter Erena and husband Michael Heino of Deer Island, Ore.; grandson Andrew Stratton; and sister Charlotte Klemo of Coupeville.

A memorial service was held for Kathryn on Aug. 7 at Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor with Father Michael O’Neil officiating.
