Jill Barrailler, 42, died peacefully in her loving husband’s arms at University of Washington Medical Center on March 30 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Jill was born in Concord Calif., graduated from nursing school and worked as an RN in community health. Because of her experiences with cancer over the past several years she was able to have a powerfully positive impact on the lives of many other women who were also battling this disease.

Jill will be extremely missed by her husband Jim, daughters Brianna and Kaitlin, brother Jeff, parents Larry, Darlene and Gerry and numerous other family members, along with her many friends here in Oak Harbor and her close childhood friends from California.

In lieu of gifts and flowers, family and friends are encouraged to walk the “Relay for Life” or make a contribution to the American Cancer Society in Jill’s name. A memorial service for close family and friends will be arranged at a later date.
