Jack Newman Jr., son of Jack and Elma (Downing) Newman, was born in Seattle on Aug. 29, 1929.

He passed away on March 30, 2019 at his home in Oak Harbor.

A viewing/rosary service will be 1-5 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2019, at Wallin Funeral Home. Recitation of the rosary will start promptly at 5 p.m.

A funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2019, at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Oak Harbor. A reception will follow in the parish hall.

Internment will be Wednesday, April 17 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash.
