Jack L. Ross

Jack L. Ross of Coupeville passed away in his sleep on Feb. 18, 2009. Jack was born May 22, 1929 in Corvallis, Ore. Survivors include his wife Nadine of 50 years; daughter Lorna (Bill) of Coupeville; sons Dennis (Barb) of Spokane and Byron of Wasilla, Alaska; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Bud; and sisters Marie and Ester.

Jack was a tremendous salesperson and earned many awards and accolades for his skill. He went to work for Anixter-Pruzan in 1967 and left as vice president of sales. He then set out with a good friend to start their own company, retiring in 1988. He actually owned on of the first prototype electric cars in Seattle in 1973.

His love of family, golfing, cards and his zest for life were felt by many that were lucky enough to have crossed paths with this remarkable man. He was a member of both the Masonic lodge and Lions Club in Coupeville.

And, Dad, it is your turn to deal.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Coupeville Lions Club, P.O. Box 473, Coupeville, WA 98239. Private services will be held at a later date.
