Jack A. Ericsson, Col. USAF Retired, age 84, of Rogers, Ariz., died Oct. 24, 2005 at Innisfree Care Center. He was born in Chicago on April 11, 1921 the son of Knute Ericsson and Anna Holmguist Ericsson. On April 26, 1980, he married Mary Lou McFarlane.
Jack retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years as a Colonel in the WW11, SAC and the Korean War. He worked for Douglas Aircraft for several years and retired after 30 years with Northwestern Mutual Life. He enjoyed sailing and many other outdoor sports.
Jack is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Ericsson of Rogers, son, John D. Ericsson and wife Georgine of Gulf Breeze, Fla., daughter, Jane Barnes and husband John of Truchas, N.M., stepson’s, Tom McFarlane and wife Alice of Mokane, Mo., Scott C. McFarlane and wife Robbie of Lowell, Ariz., sister, Jane Smith of Chicago, 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.

Leon Bylenok
Leon Bylenok, beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away surrounded by family on Oct. 24, 2005 in Tucson, Ariz. Born in Tonawanda, N.Y.,on Dec. 15, 1919, he earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Buffalo and his DDS from the University of Pittsburg and served as a Naval lieutenant. Lee was a life-long learner. He transitioned from orthodontist to groundbreaking advocate for alternative healthcare with the creation of his website www.dr-bylenok.com.
Lee raised his family in Buffalo, N.Y., relocated to Olean, N.Y., retired to Oak Harbor, and spent his final years in Tucson, Ariz. He was preceded in death by Lois, his wife of 58 years.
