Helen Delores Loveless Strong, 83, of Rising Sun, Ind., and a former Coupeville resident, died Jan. 7, 2005, at Ross Manor in Dillsboro, Ind. She was born July 17, 1921, in Georgetown, Ill., to Herschel and Marjorie Mae (Swank) Williams. She was a graduate of W. Lafayette High School and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. She was a nurse in facilities in Indiana and Oregon. She was a member of Royal Neighbor Fraternal Order and Armed Forces Cadet Nursing Corp.
Helen was first married at Byron Loveless on Jan. 26, 1946. She married Charles Strong on June 22, 1969.
She is survived by her husband Charles Strong; daughter Susan and son-in-law Loren Bengston of Rising Sun, Ind.; daughter Karen and son-in-law Michael Fleener of Kettering, Ohio; daughter Patricia Dean of Lafayette, Colo.; granddaughter Kirsten Bengtson Jackson of Aurora, Ind.; and grandsons Troy Dean of Pomona, Calif., Jared Fleener of Kettering, Ohio, Andrew Fleener of Kettering, Ohio, and Matthew Fleener of Kettering, Ohio.
Mrs. Strong was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Herschel Jr., and Garland Williams.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Christian Center in Lawrenceburg, Ind., at a later date. Memorials may be made to Heart House, Aurora, Ind.
