Harold Ask, 94, longtime resident of Oak Harbor, died Aug. 3, 2002, at Careage of Whidbey.

Mr. Ask was born Dec. 17, 1907, in Luck, Wis., to John and Tia Ask. He was raised in Wisconsin where he graduated from high school. He was married to Violet Lorene Moore in December 1974. She preceded him in death on July 19, 1995. He moved to Oak Harbor in 1976.

Mr. Ask was employed as a carpenter. He was involved in the Whidbey Island Rock and Gem Club.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, to be announced. Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Burley Funeral Chapel.
