Hallie Marie Prall: Jan. 13, 1950 – June 6, 2021

Prall, Hallie

Hallie Marie Prall, 71, of Greeley passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021. She was born Jan. 13, 1950 in Oak Harbor, Wash., to Louis and Una Audrey (Tapley) Carpenter.

Hallie spent her childhood in Oak Harbor. She later went on to graduate from high school in 1968 and subsequently attended beauty school, working as a beautician until 1975. After pursuing a career as a beautician, Hallie decided to further her education and chose to attend business school. This preceded a successful career working as a clerk for the Island County Sheriff’s Department for 17 years, where she eventually finished out the course of her career and later retired.

She met her husband, Dana Prall, while living in Washington. They were married Aug. 25, 1995. They lived in Washington, moved to Corpus Christi, Texas for five years and finally settled in Greeley in 2001.

Hallie had a gift that only God could give. Coming from humble roots, she was very loving and full of humility. Her passion in life was her devotion to her children Devon and Brandon and her fondness for her cats Baby, Abby, Mouse and Ian. She loved all creatures, great and small. She would often sit outside and feed the birds and simply relish the enjoyment of the smaller things in life. She never took those moments for granted.

Hallie was a very exquisite artist. She used her talent to create dazzling watercolor portraits and magnificent stained glass art. She also had an inventive aptitude for designing beautiful garden landscaping, always integrating pops of floral color and garden décor to establish a tranquil aesthetic atmosphere for all to enjoy. She was truly a blessing for those fortunate enough to have known her.

Thankful to have shared her life, she is survived by her husband Dana Prall; children Devon (Ray) Seaburg and Brandon Parbs; step-children Michael Prall and Tony Prall; grandchildren Payton (14), Logan (11) and Autumn (11) Seaburg; sister Anne (John) Fielding, and half-sisters Louise Gaskins, Jane Quales and Sue Quinn.

She is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Una.

Hallie’s Life Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2021 followed by a reception at Adamson Life Celebration Home.

Memorial gifts may be made to “Weld County Humane Society” in care of Adamson, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634. Friends may leave condolences at AdamsonCares.com.
