Gregory Scott Brown was born in Portland, Ore., on March 23, 1960. He died Aug. 4, 2008, in Coupeville. Greg attended Coupeville High School.He worked for several years as a machinist in Everett and also in Fall River, Maine.

Greg is survived by his daughter Crystal; his parents, Glenn and Susan Brown of Coupeville; and his siblings: Keith Brown (Cathie) Henderson, Nev.; Nancy Jensen (Galen), Sioux City, Iowa; Doug Brown, Des Moines, Wash.; Monica Williams (Mike), Eatonville; and Gail Brown, Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Dustin and Dylan Brown; Emily, Rachel and Cameron Jensen; Megan Brown and daughter Isabell; Aaron Brown; Brandon and Tyler Williams; Denise McGinnis (Mike), Mitchell and Mason McGinnis.

Greg will be cremated and his ashes scattered at sea in a private ceremony.
