Grace Mary Marker, of Oak Harbor, passed away Jan. 18, 2006 after a long illness. She was the younger of two daughters, born on Oct. 30, 1927 to Jack and Katherine McNamara in Fresno, Calif.
Grace is survived by her sister Evelyn McNamara of Seal Beach, Calif.; her daughter Catherine Cox and her husband Dennis of Clinton; her son John Marker and his wife Meg of Clinton; her granddaughter Shannon Galindo of Kirkland; and her grandson Eric Galindo and his wife Julie and two great grandchildren Taryn and Olivia of Chino, Calif.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Visser Funeral Home in Langley. Father Spicer of St Hubert’s will be officiating. Immediately following the service there will be a graveside service at Bayview Cemetery in Langley.

Grace will always be remembered by her joyful, contagious laughter and her love of the days of ballroom dancing, musicals and the sounds of the big band era.
