Geraldine June Bintliff: Feb. 27, 1932 – Jan. 19, 2020

Geraldine June Bintliff left us for the Kingdom of God on Jan. 19, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with known and unknown elements.

Born in Mitchell, S.D., Geri settled in Oak Harbor, Wash., in January 1970, where she worked for Oak Harbor Motors for many years. If you didn’t know Geri, you didn’t own a car. Her kind and caring heart brought her many friends and her dedication to the church brought her spiritual happiness. She was an amazing mother who raised three challenging sons and a foster son.

Geri was active in many organizations, including Navy Wives and Rotary Club. She took great pleasure in Bunco nights with her friends. She could trap shoot and bowl with the best of them, found a love for golf and was an avid tennis and skating fan.

Geri leaves behind three loving sons, Chris (Lorena), Kevin (Michelle), and David (Patti-waiting in heaven); foster son, John (DeeDee); grandchildren, Matt, Jake, Seth, Eddie, Jerome, Victor, Cherise, Slona, Toni, Trevor, Andrea, David, Mikey {in heaven}, Carly and Tawny; and great-grandchildren, Rhys, NatAa and Braelynn.

The family sends thanks and gratitude to the members of Whidbey Presbyterian Church and all of the caregivers who helped towards the end. She will be missed by many and thought of often as her impact on her family, friends, and this world is her legacy.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Whidbey Presbyterian Church in Oak Harbor, Wash.
