George W. Stuart, 90, died March 18, 2003, at Careage of Whidbey in Coupeville.

He was born March 8, 1913, in Manitoba, Canada. He moved with his parents to England as a child. He went to school and worked in England until the mid-50s. He returned to Canada and then to the U.S. to work at Boeing around 1964. He lived in Greenbank for 25 years.

He was an engineer for Boeing, and retired in December 1975.

He was preceded in death by a brother in 1985.
