Gaynor Lou “Peggie” Engstrom died peacefully on Dec. 27, 2006, in Everett.

Peggie was born Jan. 14, 1927 in Washington, Ind., the daughter of Thomas C. Kinman and Eleanor Gladys Roberts.

Peggie was a long-time administrator of the Restorative Care Center in Seattle. She married M.K. “Mark” Engstrom in 1973. In 1980, Mark and Peggie moved to Coupeville on Whidbey Island, where she lived until Mark’s death in 2005.

Peggie is survived by three of her sons: Ralph Jr., Mark and Niels Eskelsen and by her step-children: Mark, Chris and Sally Engstrom.

Funeral services will be held at the Camano Island L.D.S. Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue on Tuesday, Jan. 2, at 12:30 p.m.
