Fredrick Edward Walrath died on Aug. 8, 2021 in Mount Vernon, Wash.

Fred was born May 10, 1939 in Coupeville, Wash. He graduated Oak Harbor High School in 1957 and joined the Air Force reserve in 1961 and served for three years.

He met the love of his life, Barbara, and they married in 1961. They were just getting ready to celebrate their 60 years of marriage.

Fred graduated carpentry school and started his business, Walrath Construction. Fred was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed bowling.

Fred is proceeded in death by his mother Clarissa Walrath and sister Sandra Pelzel.

Fred is survived by his three children, Jerry, Tami and Daryl, and grandchildren Kimberlyn, Breanna, Noah, Raina and Hailey.
