Our beloved Elaine passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 8, 2020, after a short battle with leukemia.

Elaine was born June 15, 1927, to Michael and Dorothy Sullivan. She was the youngest of three children

She became a registered nurse. She met, fell in love with and married Charles D. Kitch in 1948. They raised five children in San Diego, Calif., and retired in Coupeville, Wash., in 1983.

Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don, and their beloved daughter, Margaret Anne. Elaine is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Kitch and Martha Kitch, and sons, Stephen Kitch and Kevin Kitch.

Elaine was loved by many, loved to create art and enjoyed nature in all its guises. She also loved her home and garden on Penn Cove.
