Dorothy Beatrice Zimmerman died April 9, 2002, at Home Place following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 11, 1921, in East Grand Forks, Minn., to Bennet and Henrietta Hagen. On March 19, 1948, in Everett she was married to Glenn Zimmerman. This was their 54th year of marriage.

Mrs. Zimmerman was a beautiful seamstress and enjoyed needlecrafts, baking and knitting. She was a past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Tula No. 15.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn of Oak Harbor; three children, Barbara Sconzo and her husband Dennis of Redmond, Lyle Zimmerman and his wife Bridget of Oak Harbor, and Gordon Zimmerman and his wife Michele of California; and five grandchildren, Dennis, Dyona, Vanessa, Amanda and Jim.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Arrangements and cremation were entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel.
