Dorothy Kidder (Youschalk)

Dorothy A. Kidder, was born August 8, 1926 in Coleman, Alberta, Canada. Dorothy was the youngest of 13 children and the daughter of a coal miner. She traveled extensively working as a waitress across Canada from Prince Edward Island to Vancouver, where she met and married Terrance Kidder and began her life as a Navy wife.

Dorothy is survived be her loving husband Terance and her two loving daughters, Jerene Robinson of Virginia and Heather Moncure of California. Dorothy is also survived by seven grandchildren, Vonda Robinson Kenner, Marcus Robinson, Athena Moncure, Sarah Moncure, Nicolette Moncure Pina, Joseph Moncure and Catherine Moncure, as well as nine great-grandchildren. She passed away peacefully May 20, 2006 with her family by her side.

No services will be held, per her request. Dearest Mother, “Rest in Peace.”

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Affordable Burial & Cremation Services, LLC of Mount Vernon.
