Dolon Edward “Ed” Nance of Oak Harbor, WA passed away peacefully on October 27, 2022.

Ed was born November 4, 1937 on a small farm in Salemburg, North Carolina. He spent many happy days with his family taking care of the fields and animals until he enlisted in the US Navy.

He was adored everywhere he went, whether grabbing lunch at Frank’s Place or riding in the Fourth of July parade or just sitting by the lake fishing, either by himself or with close family friend Paula Thompson.

He was a strong pillar for his daughter and granddaughters as well as being an unofficial dad and grandpa to many and never failed to bring happiness and kindness across the town.
