David Graham

After surviving nearly a century, David Graham, 98, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away at Careage of Whidbey on Nov. 4, 2009.

He leaves his son David, daughter-in-law Charlotte, close friend Betty, grandsons Bruce and Dan (Kristy) and great-grandchildren, Becca and Jackson. His wife Ruth preceded him in death in 1980. One brother Jess and nieces, Becky Graham and Carol Higgs survive.

David, a tire builder for 37 years in Mansfield, Ohio, spent his earlier years fishing and hunting with his family while vacationing in Canada and was an avid trap shooter in later years. He spent a great deal of time with his grandsons whenever he had the opportunity while they were growing up.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Bucyrus, Ohio, where he will be buried alongside his wife Ruth.

A special thank you goes to the wonderful employees and residents at Careage who showed Dad such caring and love and to Dr. Roof for his attention to Dad’s needs whenever he was called. Family and friends are encouraged to sign the online guest register at www.whidbeymemorial.com.
