Charles G. Trott

Charles G. Trott, USN (Ret) passed away on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012.

He was born on Nov. 23, 1931, in Seattle, to step-father Kleo G. Trott and mother Marian L. (Parish) Trott. “Chuck” was raised in Seattle.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts, retiring with the rank of Master Chief Signalman (SMCM). He moved to Oak Harbor in 1972, where he worked as a marine mechanic for 29 years, eight for Mike’s Sport Shop in Oak Harbor and 21 for Skagit Marine in Mount Vernon.

On July 21, 1984, Chuck married Donna Faye Appleby. He enjoyed bowling, golf and fishing, and was a member of the Fleet reserve Association and the VFW.

Family includes his wife, Donna F. Trott; daughters Deborah S. Scialla and husband Anthony of Anaheim, Calif. and Sandra K. Uhrig and husband Mike

of Yucaipa, Calif.; five grandchildren, Amber and husband Nick Atkins, Andrew Trott, Devon and husband David Rios, all of Hemet, Calif.; John and

Chelsea Uhrig, all of Yucaipa, Calif.; five great-grandchildren, Mykala Cid, Andie and Jacob Atkins, Terrian and Mason Rios; one sister, Barbara J.

Zampiello of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.
