Carol A. Hancock, 63, of Oak Harbor, passed away Aug. 28, 2004, in Seattle. She was born in Tillamook, Ore., Oct. 20, 1940, to Clayton and Ferne Julian. Carol enjoyed doing crafts, antiquing and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Carol leaves her three daughters: DeAnn Pumphrey and James Whipple; LeAnn Lang and her husband Larry Lang; Julie Wrazin and Heidi Svahn; six grandchildren: Kim, Kelli, Brian, Kevin, Lindsey, and Sidney along with two great-grandsons: Sean and Trevor; two sisters Joan Beck and Kay Marshall; also her beloved campanion Freedom. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, Sept. 12, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Larry and LeAnn Lang’s home, 125 W. Henni Road, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Lung Association.
