Bruce Wayne Dady

Bruce Dady went to live in his mansion in the sky, the afternoon of Jan. 17, 2011.

Bruce was born on March 2, 1952, to Bill and Mildred Dady, in Everett, Wash. He had a very special relationship with his parents throughout his life. As a child, he enjoyed Cub Scouts, camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle, building model airplanes and playing baseball. He graduated from Everett High School in 1970 where he lettered in baseball and basketball.

After some time at Washington State University, he went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in accounting from U.W. and his license as a Certified Public Accountant. He thrived throughout his career at the IRS, being given various special assignments, one of which took him to Washington, D.C. Bruce also enjoyed teaching accounting at ECC for many years.

Bruce was a loving and devoted father who enjoyed sharing his childhood hobbies with his family, by coaching his daughters’ softball and basketball teams, exploring the country, going for drives, camping and fishing. He could always be counted on to make people smile with his quirky sense of humor and lighthearted nature. Bruce was always the best dressed in the room and enjoyed “looking sharp.”

His legacy continues in the hearts of his beloved wife Linda, his dearest father, Bill Dady; sister, Barb; daughters, Heather and Lindsay; nieces Sarah (Jeff) and Elise; Linda’s children Marc, Monica, grandson Tommy and many, many friends. His beloved mother, “Mickey,” preceded Bruce in passing. We all love you so very much!
