Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who was taken by the angels on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018. Bill was born in Norman, Okla., and was raised with his two brothers and one sister by his dad. They lived with their uncle who also had nine children of his own, which made 13 children total.

Sunday dinner was always chicken. The last one served always received the neck. Bill was the youngest child of the 13 and ended up with the neck for years. This became a family joke whenever chicken was served as he was quick to grab the leg.

As he requested, there will be no service at this time, but a spring memorial will be held at a later date. Bill had a distinguished military career and a long career in the aerospace industry. Bill was preceded in death by his sons William, Edward, Billy Jr., and brother Chuck. Survived by his loving wife Vera (Vicky), of 46 years and daughters Cathy and Debbie.

Bill will be forever missed by his family, friends and his golfing buddies.
