Beverly Margaret Pratt, 76, died Aug. 3, 2002, in Coupeville. Born in Portland, Ore., she had been a resident of Oak Harbor for 31 years and previously lived in Seattle for 15 years.

Beverly graduated from high school in Sandy, Ore., and afterwards worked as a medical secretary. Always a kind and generous person, one of her greatest joys in life was playing bridge with her friends.

She belonged to several informal bridge groups, and also enjoyed gardening and watching television. Loving wife of Ronald Pratt, her other survivors include her son Hugh Blake of Pacific Palisades, Calif., her sister Sharon Hamman of Vancouver, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services at her request. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Neptune Society, Lynnwood.
