Betty Jean Norma Verbarendse, 76, died at her home in Oak Harbor on March 26, 2009, following a lengthy illness. Her husband Al and three children survive her. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m. at Fern Hill Cemetery, Anacortes. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Anacortes First Assembly of God Church.
