Arthur “Art” Logan passed away peacefully at his home in Cheney, Wash., at the age of 93 on Aug. 12, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was a loving son, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and a great friend.
He was born Feb. 19, 1927, to Arthur and Cecelia Carroll Logan in Bayonne, N.J., where he spent his childhood. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-46.

He coached many youth sports. Fishing was his favorite activity, especially if it was with his grandchildren. He enjoyed the Oregon Coast, where many family vacations were enjoyed. He also took great pride that all four of his children, and all five of his grandchildren, graduated from college.
Art was a very kind, giving, caring man who lived a wonderful, fulfilling life. He was known for his smile, quick wit and sense of humor. He will be remembered for the box of donuts and cookies that he would drop off while running errands.
