Anna Dianne Frederiksen, 53, of Anacortes, WA passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2021 due to heart complications.

Anna was born on February 13th, 1968 in Fresno, California to Robert Liess, and Marijane Wolfe (deceased). Anna was the younger of two daughters.

Anna attended Amador County High School in Sutter Creek, California. She later married Terry Frederiksen and moved to West Jordan, Utah, and then to Texas. In 2004 she moved to Whidbey Island to be closer to her family. Her husband Terry passed away in 2006.

Anna is remembered for her kindness and generosity. Her greatest passion in life was helping others.

She is survived by her father Robert Liess, her stepmother Sandra Liess, and stepsister Jennifer Venegas of Clinton, WA; her sister Patricia “Lauren” Hawley (Pool) and her brother-in-law Michael Hawley (Ret. Island County Sheriff) of Langley, WA.

A service will be held for Anna at Saint Hubert’s Catholic Church in Langley, WA on Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Good Cheer.

A special thank you to the staff who cared for her at Cypress Assisted Living in Anacortes where Anna spent her last 18 months.
