The Whidbey Wildcat Wrestling Club produced a strong showing at its home competition, the Western Washington Kids Wrestling League Wildcat Novice Tournament, Sunday, Jan. 17, at Oak Harbor High School.
The Wildcats placed 17 out of 33 wrestlers in the top two of their weight classes.
Champions for WWWC were Ethan Hunsaker, pee wee 42-44; Logan Clairmont, bantam 49-51; Tiaan Des Fountain, bantam 69-70; and Parker Anderson, intermediate 60-65.
