World: Cut political feeding tubes

Most of our politicians’ feeding tubes (our votes) gotta go. They don’t represent our rights anymore.

Why is it that North Korea and Iranian nukes are still not of political importance, anymore than the fact that 60 percent of Afghanistan’s economy is from the drug trade, making billionaires out of war lords and forever preventing peace? Health care, education and poverty are not an issue, yet Congress can summon up the finest ball players to investigate steroid use in just a week?

I thought I’d heard it all until the GOP subpoenaed a brain dead woman on a feeding tube, to testify in Congress to prevent the tube from being pulled after 15 years. I can only imagine if she is in a “semiconscious state,” what it’s like hearing people in the room plot to keep her from passing away and pledging to keep her in misery for another decade. Is this another ruse to preserve the sanctity of marriage? What planet are they living on? Most kids live with a step-parent, grandparent or girlfriend. If this right to die is a moral issue, then admit you have a religious agenda, but in the mean time, let this family have their basic human rights back. And most importantly, let her have her right to die in dignity.

Come on, a feeding tube? You think God is doing this? Republican or Democrat, you better think before you vote the next time. Most of our politicians’ feeding tubes (our votes) gotta go. They don’t represent our rights anymore.
