Saturday, April 7

At 8:22 a.m., a caller reported that 12 plants were stolen from the Greenbank Farm.

At 5:37 p.m., a driver reported that a manhole cover was in the middle of State Highway 20.

At 8:46 p.m., squatters were reported at a house on Swantown Road.

Sunday, April 8

At 12:17 p.m., a driver reported that a suspicious cardboard box was in the middle of Highway 20. The caller described the box as “square.”

At 2:12 p.m., a caller reported that kids were jumping into the water from the island between the two spans of Deception Pass Bridge.

Monday, April 9

At 1 a.m., loose sheep were reported on Silverlake Road.

At 8:30 a.m., a Cedar Cove Lane resident reported that a large amount of cash was stolen from a safe.

At 2:54 p.m., a House Place man asked about “dispatching” a rooster that was harassing his wife.

At 3:29 p.m., a caller reported that pigs were running around and harassing chickens at a Highway 20 location.

Tuesday, April 10

At 3:50 p.m., a truck was reportedly stolen from Degraff Road.

Wednesday, April 11

At 9:18 a.m., a caller reported that a ferry employee was bitten by a dog at the Clinton ferry terminal.

At 11:43 a.m., there was a report that someone broke into a car and stole clothes on Harper Street.

At 3:38 p.m., a caller reported that a man poached a deer on North Whidbey.

Thursday, April 12

At 2:14 a.m., a Huckleberry Lane resident reported that a man at the door was screaming at the top of his lungs for help.

At 8:30 a.m., a rape was reported on Bush Point Road.

At 8:56 a.m., a driver reported that two “baby cows” were loose and running with cars on Heggenes Road.

At 12:14 p.m., a Terrace Drive resident reported that a vicious pit bull was outside the front door. The dog charged at the caller.

At 3:14 p.m., a caller reported that a dog chased her down the street on Airline Way. Another resident later reported that the dog came after the caller and a child.

Friday, April 13

At 1:22 p.m., a caller reported that cows and horses were up to their “ankles” in mud at a field on Taylor Road.

At 3:31 p.m., an Onamac Way resident reported that an otter ran under a neighbor’s deck.

Saturday, April 14

At 9:40 a.m., a caller reported that someone broke into a summer cabin and shed on Madrona Way.

At 1:38 p.m., a caller reported that someone on an orange Zodiac boat was harassing whales off of Acorn Terrace.

At 3:31 p.m., there was a report of a blond man jumping in and out of traffic on Highway 20 near Rhododendron Park.

At 3:55 p.m., a Casey Street resident reported that someone stole a briefcase out of a car.

Sunday, April 15

At 2:33 a.m., a caller reported that a power pole was on a car after a land slide on Eastpoint Drive.

At 7:44 a.m., a driver reported hitting a “large sized” otter on Highway 525.

At 1:19 p.m., a Hazelwood Drive resident reported an ongoing problem with a peacock hanging around the neighborhood.

At 1:38 p.m., a caller on Northeast Eighth Avenue reported that a man was dumping booze and spitting on the property.

Monday, April 16

At 8:10 p.m., a woman on Birch Street reported that there was “a cold killer” in her car. She said it was a “code red.”

Tuesday, April 17

At 7:53 a.m., a woman reported that a man was driving and watching a movie on Highway 20.

At 10:16 a.m., a caller reported that someone dumped an ATM at Island Recycling. Workers picked it up with an excavator and broke it, revealing at least $400 inside.

At 11:25 a.m., two sheep were reported on the highway on North Whidbey.

At 1:12 p.m., a resident reported that a kicker engine was stolen off a boat on Highway 525.

At 2:13 p.m., a caller reported that a woman with a large stick was acting strangely on Swantown Avenue.

Wednesday, April 18

At 1:31 a.m., a driver reported that a man was running down Highway 525 and dragging a generator.

At 7:55 a.m., a caller reported that a man pulled a gun on him at the Cornet Bay boat launch.

At 7:55 a.m., there was a report of a very drunk man trying to get into superior court.
