Three team members shot personal bests to help the Oak Harbor High School rifle team finish fifth in the sporter class at the NJROTC regional tournament at Fort Perry, Ohio, last week.

Steven Richards, Mia Gehrmann, Micah Moss, Julia Flake and Elizabeth Adams competed for the Wildcats, and Gehrmann, Flake and Adams each posted PRs.

“For Steven, Julia and Elizabeth, this was their first time at this level and they did extraordinarily well dealing with the pressure,” coach David Goodman said.

Oak Harbor wraps up the regular season at Marysville-Pilchuck High School Saturday, Feb. 27.

The high school regional finals are in mid-March.

S-Cubed, the local high school club team, goes to Salt Lake City at the end of March for the Civilian Marksmanship Program/Junior Olympic Air Rifle Regional Championships.
