The WHIDBEY PLAYHOUSE has announced its 2013-14 season opener, “Too Soon for Daisies,” which will open Friday, Sept. 6.

STAN THOMAS is the director. Casting will be held the evenings of June 17-18. Rehearsals for the show will start July 14.

The show is about three elderly ladies who escape from a retirement home and settle into an empty house, only to learn it’s not quite empty. But once a visitor who claims to be the new owner of the house dies of a heart attack, the ladies carry on as owners and the complications begin.
