The weather is supposed to be sunny and in the 70s for the Whidbey Marathon this Sunday.
Which means a lot of cars and runners will have to share the roads.
State Highway 20 at Deception Pass will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Sunday, April 19 between Rosario Road and Ducken Road for the start of the marathon. The highway also will have a single-lane closure from 6 to 7 a.m. prior to the race; flaggers will control traffic.
In addition, drivers should expect delays on Torpedo Road, Taylor Road, Southeast Regatta Drive, Southeast Pioneer Way, Southeast Bayshore Drive and Southeast Beeksma Drive.
