A 31-year-old Oak Harbor man accused of repeatedly violating a domestic-violence, no-contact order could end up in a state penitentiary, court documents indicate.

Prosecutors charged William W. Blue in Island County Superior Court with two counts of felony violation of a court order. Under state law, a violation of a court order becomes a felony if the offender has two previous convictions.

If convicted of the charges, Blue could face from 15 to 20 months in prison under the standard sentencing range.

Two police reports in the case describe two alleged incidents in which Blue violated a court order barring him from contact with a 26-year-old woman.

The woman reported on Jan. 4 that she saw Blue outside of an Oak Harbor church. She said he was hiding behind a tree and revealed himself, motioning for her to come over to him.

Then on Feb. 27, Blue followed the woman inside of Kmart and attempted to talk to her, a police report states.
