The Board of Island County Commissioners on Wednesday unanimously reappointed Kirk Augustine, Michael O’Mahony and Gary Swanson to the Law & Justice Council.

The group, the existence of which is required by state law, meets monthly.

The 21 members include the county sheriff and representatives of several municipal police departments and legislative bodies. It is charged with maximizing local resources and reducing duplication of services.
